On June 15, 2003, Depute Governor Zhou Bo Hua and his party, accompanied by Mr. Chao Xiang Ping, head of Hunan Labor and Social Security Bureau, inspected the Labor Bureau of Yiyang City with a stress on the informationization on the city’s labor and social security network and spoke highly of the project provided by Powerise Group.

In the hall of the office building, Mr. Zhou tried running the system in person and had a cordial talk with those citizens who were staying there, doing things regarding labor and social security affairs. After hearing a special report, Mr. Zhou came to the bureau’s computer room to have a survey there. He enquired of Mr. Ding Liang, president of Powerise Group, of the system construction in details. Having asserted the correct direction of Powerise’s investment, he encouraged Powerise to be constantly improving in its work, help the government better the system construction and give more convenience to people through its advanced technology so as to display the government’s philosophy of ‘working for people’.

The comprehensive social and security management system for Labor and Social Security Bureau of Yiyang City was another model project subsequent to the same systems constructed in Wuhu City, Anhui and Xuchang City, Henan. Its construction attracted much concern from the labor and social security field in the whole Hunan province and became a landmark project, indicating that the work province-wide in this field had moved to a new phase. The system, in connection with the upper-,and lower-end webs of the concerned departments, combined labor information managements (labor force market management, personnel relationship management and vocational training management) with retirement insurance and medical insurance in a unified manner. By so doing, labor and social security management could be conducted integrally by computers and at the same time the system also stood for strategic decision making function in this field.

The concern and approval Vice-governor Zhou gave to the work done by Yiyang City in informationization area showed the positive result of Powerise products.
