Powerise, is a high-tech IT industry entity specializing in software development and technical services. It was one of the first four software companies to be authorized by the Chinese government under its “National Torch Plan”. Powerise is headquartered in Beijing with eighteen subsidiaries and branches throughout China and a further two branches overseas. owerise provides more than 150 customers such as China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom with software for billing, network management and database solutions. In 2000, Powerise introduced a new generation of telecommunications solutions which included new telecommunications customer service platforms, comprehensive billing systems and network management systems.  These solutions have also been applied to the financial, banking and securities industries.  Of note has been Powerise’s recent successful application of a Basic Health Insurance Information System for Urban Workers used by the government throughout China.

Powerise provides software development and services at international standards in the US and Japanese markets.  These markets currently account for 80% of the world’s software market. Powerise has been chosen by the NEC company of Japan to work on more than 30 projects for the Japanese government. Powerise’s goal is to gradually become one of the major export venues for Chinese software.  In the meantime, Powerise will continue to work within the Japanese software market while increasing its investments in a US branch so as to keep a finger on the pulse of international software technology and management strategies.  

Since July 20, 2002 when Powerise’s general-purpose software – the Customer Relationship System (CRM) was introduced, the company’s high tech positioning strategy has been welcomed by the market. Powerise has been able to break into and maintain relationships in the banking, securities, real estate and medical markets with this product. Powerise is already a leading Chinese CRM company and can compete in this field with confidence on the international market.  

Globalization is an inevitable tendency in modern international economic development. At the time of its founding, Powerise fixed its sights on internationalization.
